The section size of the steel gate track of large-scale water conservancy and hydropower engineering is large, and the influence of the section size on the mechanical properties of the material must be considered during design. Generally, the hardness value of the track material after quenching and tempering is less than the requirements of Table 2. For example, the cross-sectional profile size of the accident gate track of the Three Gorges Water Conservancy Project is 380mm@380mm, which is made of ZG42CrMo steel.
