The Shanxi Iron & Chemical Group Shenmu Energy Development Co., Ltd. 300,000 tons/year carbide project has successfully fired once a day and produced qualified calcium carbide products. The project adopts advanced large-scale sealed calcium carbide furnace technology in China, and the production process adopts PLC automatic control. The exhaust gas of calcium carbide furnace is comprehensively used after purification. Together with Shenmu Energy's existing blue carbon and blue carbon tail gas power generation projects and the nearby 1.1 million t/y PVC project of Shaanxi Yuanhua Chemical Group's Beiyuan Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., it constitutes a complete circular economy including coal-coke, exhaust gas power generation, calcium carbide, and PVC. The industrial chain, through the small-to-medium cycle in the large-scale cycle, realized the high-carbon energy and low-carbon utilization and the green development of the energy and chemical industry.
