It is reported that the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Administration have recently approved 79 national standards, including the three-part national standard "satellite navigation ship supervision information system" jointly developed by Dalian Maritime University and Chongqing Municipal Maritime Safety Administration (ie: GB/ T 26782.1-2011 satellite navigation ship supervision information system Part 1 - "system composition and function definition"; GB/T 26782.2-2011 satellite navigation ship supervision information system part 2 - "system information exchange agreement"; GB/T 26782.3—2011 Part 3 of the Satellite Navigation Vessel Supervision Information System – “Technical Requirements for Shipborne Terminals†was officially approved and officially implemented on December 1, 2011.
For many years, China's system of using satellite navigation for ship supervision (commonly known as "ship-based GPS") has no national standards, so it is impossible to formulate ship inspection specifications, so that the application of the system is limited. The core of this national standard is the interconnection of systems and provides technical standards for the interconnection and information sharing of the system with other ship safety information systems such as AIS systems. This national standard applies to the design, construction, production, testing and acceptance of ship surveillance information systems and their shipborne terminal equipment using satellite navigation technology and wireless communication methods.
