The system adopts the self-developed open special CNC system as the controller. A man-machine interface and a set of button stations are arranged on the man-machine interface. The inverter model is Schneider ATV312HU75N4, and the open CNC system is connected with two inverters by RS422 interface. The system is the main station and the two inverters are slaves.
The man-machine interface model is Taiwan Weiluntong MT6100i, which is connected with the system by RS485. The man-machine interface is the master station and the system is the slave station. The PC for programming and debugging software is connected to the system through Ethernet, the PC is used as the client, and the system is used as the server. In this way, the human-machine interface can operate the controller and the controller to operate the inverter.
The main functions of the system: display function: display information such as tool holder coordinates, spindle speed, machining workpiece count, etc. Operation functions: automatic cycle start/stop, tool path movement, JOG motion, zero return, etc. The current coordinate of the servo axis is a system-defined parameter. When programming the human-machine interface, the address of the display unit is pointed to the current axis coordinate parameter address of the system. The human-machine interface will automatically query the data according to the Modbus protocol and display it on the screen.
The two data of spindle speed and workpiece counter are user-defined parameters. Two variables are set in the user parameter area. The spindle speed variable is written by the man-machine interface. The start/stop of the spindle is a user-written application. An instruction flag is used to start the program.
At startup, the soft button defined by the man-machine interface sets the command position. When the PLC scheduling module of the system scans the spindle start command sent from the human interface, the spindle speed data setting value is first written to the inverter, and then passed through I. The /O port starts the inverter, and a display unit is set on the man-machine interface. The unit points to the spindle speed variable in the system, thus realizing the start/stop and speed display of the spindle.
