Jinan Steel Shipboard's production and sales rank first in the country

Jinan Iron and Steel Group firmly seized the opportunity of the world shipbuilding industry to transfer to China and increased the production and development of ship plates. In the first half of this year, Jigang produced a total of 584,200 tons of ship plates, an increase of 197% over the same period of last year. The production and sales volume jumped from the fifth place in the country last year. Among them, the output of high value-added and high-strength ship plates exceeded 146,000 tons, accounting for 25% of ship plate production, and became a “golden signboard” of Jigang.

The ship plates produced by Jigang mainly meet the requirements of Shandong Province, Bohai Rim, Jiangsu and Zhejiang, etc., and have been used in batches for dozens of shipbuilding enterprises such as Dalian Shipyard, Qingdao Beihai Ship Heavy Industry, Weihai Factory, Yantai Raffles Shipyard, etc. It is sold to Southeast Asian countries such as Korea, Vietnam and Singapore.
